Multi-Family Project Manager

Starting Wage: $60,000.00-100,000.00 DOE

Full or Part Time: Full Time

Location: Fife, WA

Basic Position Function

A Multi-Family Project Manager will be managing the scheduling, purchasing, shipping, and selling to large projects. The project manager acts as the point of contact for the customer throughout the project.

Duties And Responsibilities

Project Management:

• Write purchase and work orders

• Work with production team to ensure shop builds doors to accurate specifications

• Maintain the schedule of deliveries to jobsites

• Manage requests for material alterations (change orders) throughout the project

• Work with purchasing to schedule material that needs to be run through the shop

• Regularly visit jobsites to verify sizes, quantities, and maintain effective

communication with site supervisors

• Build and maintain business relationships through active communication, prompt

responses to calls and emails.

Collaborate with Sales/Administrative teams:

• Work with team members/customers to ensure everyone has the information

necessary to deliver on agreements and provide excellent customer service.

• Work with the sales staff to let them know of any sales opportunities in their areas

Other:

• Comply with company policies and procedures, and all relevant laws and

regulations.

• Travel as needed to accomplish job responsibilities

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Desired Attributes:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• At least one year experience with estimating and project management in the construction or building materials industry

• Ability to read complex blueprints

• Intermediate experience using Outlook, Excel, and Word

• Excellent math skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills in order to effectively

communicate with all levels of vendors, customers, and coworkers.

• Ability to process estimates quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment

• Attention to detail with accuracy

• Positive attitude in a fast-paced, and conditions varying environment

• Relative driving experience

• Self-motivated

• Detail oriented

• Independent worker

• Punctual and reliable
